Set within the sought-after Sherwood Forest Resort, this recently renovated 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests and places you just minutes from everything—only about 1.3 miles from Pigeon Forge and roughly 6 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, while still feeling tucked away in your own private mountain escape.
From the moment you arrive, the experience is built for ease and connection. There’s parking for up to three vehicles and a wheelchair-accessible ramp that leads directly to the balcony, opening into a breezy outdoor living space where mountain air, sweeping views, and quiet mornings set the tone. Spend your evenings soaking in the hot tub, grilling dinner, or simply unwinding as the Smokies stretch endlessly in the distance.
Inside, the main level brings everyone together with an open-concept living room featuring a sleeper sofa, loveseat, and armchair centered around a warm fireplace and TV for movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen—with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and seating for eight—makes shared meals feel effortless and social.
Upstairs, the fun continues with a pool table, TV, and a King master suite complete with an electric fireplace and spa-style en-suite featuring a jetted tub and walk-in shower. On the main level, a King bedroom offers added comfort and accessibility with a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

This cabin was even better than the pictures. We came for spring break with 3 adults and 3 teenagers- and there was so much space! The kids loved the hot tub and the movie theater seats for watching movies at night. We also loved the gorgeous views from the balconies. The cabin was very easy to find, and super close to the main strip of activities- but far enough that it was quiet.

Bachelorette weekend huge success! There were nine of us and A Higher Calling was the perfect cabin for us. We all slept comfortably and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise and view. The cabin was stocked with all the things we needed and the hot tub was a hit after a long day of activity. Great place to stay! Would stay here again with a large party!

We stayed in "A Higher Calling" for a week. It was fantastic! There were 8 of us. We had plenty of space.The cabin was beautiful and clean. It was stocked with all the necessities. The view was awesome. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff called on our second day to check and make sure we didn't need anything. We didn't. (As i said it was stocked well).I thought that was very thoughtful and professional. We will definitely be using Bear Camp Cabins again! I should also say that we had booked this cabin before the pandemic hit and they were very accommodating when we needed to reschedule because of restrictions and shut-downs.
