Welcome to Awesome Honey Bear, a peaceful Smoky Mountain retreat designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying time with the people who matter most. Tucked away on Bear Mountain, this inviting 3-bedroom, 3-bath all-wood cabin offers that rare balance of feeling completely “away from it all” while still keeping you just a short drive from the best of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Set approximately 20 minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country, and the Parkway, and about 25–30 minutes from Gatlinburg, this cabin places you close to adventure while still giving you the quiet, wooded escape you came for. The drive winds through scenic mountain roads with steep, narrow stretches that add to the authentic Smoky Mountain experience. The cabin is best suited for up to two vehicles and is not recommended for motorcycles or trailers.
Step inside and you’re welcomed by soaring ceilings, warm wood interiors, and large windows that bring the mountain surroundings right into the home. The main level is designed for gathering—featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for six, perfect for shared meals and morning coffee before a day of exploring.
The living room invites you to slow down and stay awhile with a cozy stone wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating including a queen sleeper sofa and loveseat, and a TV with surround sound for movie nights after a full day in the mountains. Also on this level is a private queen bedroom with a full bath featuring a shower/tub combo, offering easy comfort and convenience.
Step outside onto the main deck where the experience truly comes alive. Soak in the hot tub as you overlook peaceful wooded surroundings, settle into a rocking chair with a good book, or enjoy quiet conversation at the patio set while the mountain air surrounds you.
Upstairs, the loft-level king suite offers a quiet retreat with its own TV and a private full bathroom with a shower/tub combo—an inviting space to unwind and recharge.
Downstairs is where fun and relaxation meet. This level features an additional queen bedroom with TV, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a game room complete with a pool table, foosball table, and another TV for entertainment. Step out onto the lower deck to enjoy a picnic table and seating area, perfect for morning coffee, evening wind-downs, or late-night conversations under the trees.

Beautiful cabin! Lots of room! For my husband and I and 2 older children, 12 and 14, we all had separate bedrooms and bathrooms which was really nice.
Also, DoorDash has some places that deliver there so if you just want to relax and not go out or cook, that's an option!

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable cabin, privacy on each floor, there was a bedroom, it's 3 floors, beautiful view, excellent jacuzzi, absolute tranquility, we saw raccoons, squirrels, all kinds of little animals, wonderful, we loved it, lots of light, everything very clean, I will go back, I recommend it.

Only downside is that the tv’s were outdated a little and no WiFi ( bit this sure didn’t hurt so the kids were not on their phones all the time). Reserving and check in was very easy. Our cabin was wonderful, we brought four children ages 5, 10, 12, 13 and four adults, perfect size! Wasn't able to relax and enjoy cabin time for going into town to see and enjoy the attractions. We didn't get in till just before midnight one n8ght for sitting in Rod Run traffic on our way back from Cades Cove, it was a pretty long way from our cabin but traffic had us sitting at the edge of Pigeon Forge for almost four hours, we got ourselves and the kids fed and went on to bed. Everything was beautiful and comfy! We would stay there again should we need to sleep that many again. It was our wedding day on Friday and we had a great weekend! Thank you so much for giving us an avenue to schedule amazing accommodations for our time away from home!!! Awesome Honey Bear is a gorgeous cabin, love the privacy we had!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Everything was clean and neat. The only complaint I have is that there were no extra sheets for the sofa bed and the sofa and loveseat were the most uncomfortable things I've tried to sit on. Other than those two thing we really enjoyed our stay.

We had the best time and made some amazing memories as a family while there. The cabin was so comfy and clean and we had more than enough room. Loved it. Hope to be able to return some day. I have to admit, it was a bit scary going up those hills and around all those curves, but well worth the ride!
