The Good Life” is what you will feel in this 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin that will sleep 8. With the amazing views of the mountains, you will never want to leave. You are only about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and about 25 minutes from Gatlinburg with paved mountain roads all the way to the cabin and parking for 3 vehicles. There are 2 parking areas, the upper parking will make it easy for anyone because there are no steps to enter. The lower parking area will have 15 steps to access the main entry door.
As you enter this gorgeous cabin, you will be taken away by the mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows. With an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living room, you will never miss a moment of family time. You will have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare any meal and seating for 6 at the dining table with 2 additional chairs at the island. Relax and kick back on the couch or love seat while watching your favorite show on the Flat Screen TV, or grab a cup of hot cocoa and snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace on those cold winter nights. Just off the kitchen is the Master Bedroom with a King bed, Flat Screen TV, and a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub/shower combination. If you are night owl, there is also a small deck just off the master bedroom. The main level deck has mountain views as far as the eye can see. Relax and enjoy your morning coffee on the porch swing or one of the gliders; that is the “Good Life”.
As you travel upstairs, there is a Queen Bedroom with a Flat Screen TV and its own private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Enjoy a good book or take a nap on the couch just outside of the Queen bedroom, and enjoy the views that will just take your breath away.
On the lower level, you will find the game room, and bathroom. Reviews
Gorgeous view! Exactly what we were hoping for. The entire area is beautiful and was within close proximity to Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay here again!
My wife and I spent a few days at The Good Life at the tail-end of a house-hunting trip to Knoxville area. The cabin was spectacular, views were amazing, and this cabin in particular has perfect proximity to dozens of really awesome hikes (within 30min drive). Would definitely stay again.
Good place good view
Clean area and services perfect
The view is absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the drive up the mountain to get to! We loved every aspect of the cabin especially the hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, game room, and multiple swings and rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains. We will most certainly make this cabin a destination to come back to in the future when we visit the Smokies. Everyone in our family enjoyed it and we made amazing memories that will last a life time.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW
We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with all the comforts of home. The kids loved the Xbox and air hockey. Sitting on the decks/porches in the morning with coffee overlooking the valley was amazing.
The drive up to the cabin was an adventure each time but we figured it out and all was fine.
The cabin is quiet and not next to anyone else. We preferred not being right next to another cabin. This was perfect and we would definitely stay again!
Awesome cabin, great views, everything you need for a peaceful, quiet vacation. Road into cabin a little tricky, but this was our second trip and much easier to navigate. Might be more difficult to navigate at night. Bear Camp is a great rental company and would definitely suggest using them, we will for all our Pigeon Forge visits.
Beautiful views!
very nice place and the view is perfect. definitely challenging navigating the roads the first time, especially at night and the hope that another car is not coming up/down at the same time. The inside of the cabin and the items provided are great. The location was perfect for our trip bouncing between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Visiting the grocery store prior to heading to the cabin is recommended.
The cabin was in good condition and clean when we arrived. We had no issues with any of the amenities or with bugs. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. One of the nights we did have a power outage (which we think was caused by the strong winds). The issue was resolved quickly and power was restored within about an hour. The next morning we realized the outage has caused an issue with the cable. We called the office and were told our problem would be reported and maintenace sent out. Someone was there with about half an hour. We had been able to fix the issue on our own just minutes before some one showed up and ended up not needing assistance after all. I would recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.
The Good Life was exactly as described and, realistically even better. The cabin was beautiful and plenty big enough for our family of 5. Whether relaxing in the morning on the deck with coffee overlooking Wears Valley or relaxing in the hot tub at night watching the stars, it truly was The Good Life.
Being flatlanders from Louisiana, we were initially concerned with the single-lane switch back roads up to the cabin, but after the first couple times it became an easy route to take even in our long expedition. Either way, the route was worth the view from the mountainside cabin.
I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful views that isn't too far from the sites (25 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg; 15 minutes to the National Park).
Great cabin at the top of the mountain. The view is breath taking. There's plenty of things to do in the cabin without leaving to go into town for entertainment. I would highly recommend this cabin.
The cabin was absolutely top of the list when planning a getaway. It was everything I asked the bearcamp girls for and they totally delivered. The hot tub was not full when we arrived BUT they had someone out that day to make sure all was good. I will always check back fir this property, the privacy, the veiw , the fireplace, pool table , arcade game, Xbox with plenty games (which I do not play but still) ....... she and I consider this time our best smokies trip ever and definitely top of all our vacays!!! Thank you bearcamp!
Great view!! Space was great!
Directions difficult to follow after dark. A cabin name sign or number at intersection would have been helpful.
Wonderful Cabin! Amazing views! Gorgeous sunsets!
We just stayed at The Good Life in early April 2021. 2 adults and 4 kids ages 4-10. This cabin has everything you will need. Wifi was great and every TV is a Smart TV and can stream Netflix (and Prime I believe.) It had all of the amenities and cooking utensils you would need. The views are AMAZING. We all watched the sunset as a family every single night. The basement was our main hang out spot. So much fun for the kids. Hot tub was great. Its about a 15 min drive into Wears Valley to stores and a few restaurants. There's a cool Food Truck spot with multiple trucks on Wears Valley Rd open every evening. I would plan to hit a grocery store on the way in, Walmart or Publix. The drive up the mountain to the cabin is crazy but fun....just go slow. The cabin was clean and just as advertised. We loved it!
