Do to a pressing need somewhere else I was not able to enjoy the cabin myself, but I allowed my adult son and his family to enjoy the cabin and they were very happy for sure, and will probably return again someday soon. The only thing they found to be a problem was Sat, morning they went to get a few things from the car and as the son was returning to the cabin a mother black bear and her 3 cubs went straight to the car and opened the drivers door to find snacks she must have smelled. Momma bear did a quick search for the snacks and the cubs played with the drivers door for a bit before they all left back to the woods. No damage of any kind but a word of advice would be to keep the doors locked and the windows up as she knew well how to open the door with her mouth and pull the door open, Great pictures were taken by my family.

This cabin is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Great Wi-Fi, televisions, and sound. There is a well maintained hot tub on one of two very nice decks. Air conditioning was perfect. Kitchen and appliances were in great shape. Well stocked. The pool table and game room are enjoyable - the mini fridge was a nice surprise.

The driveway can be tricky but easy to learn! Definitely recommend.

Selection was great, booking was easy. Entry was very smooth with the e-mails, instructions and door code being sent upon arrival day. The property was very clean and was the perfect place for our family to call home while on vacation. Will definitely look into this, and their other properties when returning.

Great cabin. Only problem we had was the road was not accessible when a snow storm came. We had to stay at a hotel in our first night because the road was not accessible because of the snow and road. Driveway to the cabin was steep, and 4x4 was needed if it was snowy or wet, but other than that it was a great place.

5 O'clock Somewhere is a wonderfully planned and appropriately decorated mountain cabin, tucked in conveniently between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which was perfect for our getaway with our teenaged grandson and his friend. Having vacationed in the Smokies for years, this cabin was our favorite one yet. Bear Camp Cabins was also found to be number 1 on our list of rental companies. Their reservations, check-in, and check-out are the easiest we have found, yet they were easily available if needed and especially pleasant to deal with. All in all, Bear Camp Cabins and 5 O'clock Somewhere were the perfect combination for us!

We stayed at 5 O’Clock somewhere near Gatlinburg. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. The kids enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the trees and the pool table. It had all amenities needed. We let the kids have the master since the pull out couch was located in the room. Laundry was a nice feature. Bear Camp was responsive to any issues we had, and the people at Xplorie were really kind and helpful to give us some non-touristy insight.

The cabin was about a 10-12min drive up and into a deep holler and the driveway was quite steep. I would not recommend renting unless you are experienced driving in mountainous conditions or without AWD. There were neighbors, but it was all rather secluded still. Once down the mountain, it’s about a 5 minute drive into either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

We had a great stay at 5 o’clock somewhere. Cabin was perfect size for our family, was clean and everything was in working order. Customer service was great. The express check in was easy, and I received multiple emails prior to checking in with instructions and information. I was concerned about having email access at cabin to get door code, and customer service made sure I received it. The only things I noted about our cabin was that there was only one small fry pan and sauce pan to cook with, wi-fi was spotty, and pull out couch was in master bedroom. We have older kids and would have preferred it to be downstairs in living room. Highly recommend bear camp and their cabins.

The customer service was fantastic. I had 2 issues, the handle was broken off of the over-the-range microwave and the pots and pans looked horrible. The next morning after our check in I was given a courtesy call to see how it went and I let them know those issues and they were resolved within about 10-15 min. Cabin was very clean and well kept.

AT THE CHECK IN THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. WE HAD ZERO ISSUES AT CHECK IN AND THE INDIVIDUAL WAS OUTSTANDING AND SO FRIENDLY. ALSO WE HAD SEVERAL FOLLOW UP CALLS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK, WHICH WAS ALSO OUTSTANDING. IT ALSO SNOWED AND WE WERE PROVIDED WITH SNOW SHOVEL AND ICE MELT AFTER THE SERVICE DESK HAD UPDATED US ON WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT WAS BEING FORECAST FOR THE AREA STAYING IN. Check in was a breeze and the direction to the cabin was easy to follow. The cabin was very nice and clean, it was more than we had expected. Had a problem with a missing curtain blinds in the upstairs bedroom, but got the okay from the staff to move one from downstairs. My husband and I will be using Bear Camp Rentals again, and recommend them to anyone who will be vacationing in the Tennessee mountains.
